Take a well-earned break with tea, coffee, and light snacks before continuing across scenic ridges, moss-covered waterfalls, and expansive bog landscapes dotted with Giant Lobelia plants, unique to the Rwenzori Mountains. After lunch at Kalalama Camp, continue along a scenic ridge through magnificent Giant Heather trees, crossing crystal-clear mountain streams on your way to Samalira Camp (3,170m). Continue downstream along the Nyamwamba River, discovering a series of remarkable waterfalls, beginning with Nyamwamba Falls, which drops approximately 52 meters into a deep pool where you may safely swim and refresh. The river then flows through powerful rapids toward Ajarova Falls and Plozza Falls, before continuing past Bridal Falls, where cascading water gracefully flows over smooth rock like a bride’s veil. As you descend further, the bamboo zone reappears, creating a magical misty environment surrounded by birdlife, primates, and diverse plant species. This area is also home to the Rwenzori Duiker and the rare Rwenzori leopard. Arrive at Forest View Camp (2,580m) for your overnight stay.
